rocks his world each day
in what she says and does
or simply being there!
moments with her linger
time passes ever slowly
as passion fills his days
whether be here or anywhere!
love her? certainly!
he will till he’s old and gray
into the universe beyond
he would follow Lenore!
she loves him intensely
as much if not more
she made the commitment
to spend forever with him
to be his beloved Lenore
a prison? it could be to some
but to her it’s fulfillment
all of her clamors for his love
she feels it to her core
their days together
brightens each moment of existence
intense emotions they shared
from the time they met
every moment that passes
they long for each other’s touch
their love story’s real
but to some a fairy tale!
under trying circumstances,
they’ve persevered,
not unscathed, but deep in love;
