Lover's tryst
Sweet sultry muse,
I declare this solemn oath
before all that’s true and holy,
that this earthly life and love
are yours and yours alone,
until the worlds collide,
and yet beyond.
It has never been enough
for this romantic’s heart
to worship and adore you
within some secluded privacy.
All that live must know
and share this ecstasy.
You who read these
words of infinite surrender,
it is you that consecrate
this sacred lover’s tryst.
