Snow in March
Snow falls gentle and slow,
Not a second passes without concern,
Liver blisters to the sound of savage chinks,
Mouth gets moister as acid burns the throat,
Legs set to the form of jelly mould,
Spotted dick before the itch,
Spinal cracker no chance to pull,
Tainted breath, bag of fog,
Head of state, right state,
Whiskers itch as scratchers whisk,
Bladder boils, crab stick toils, why front soils, dirty foils.
And still…
