Real Scars

‎"Some scars are deep, they cut to the very bone of existence and carry us down a path we dare not go. Their ugliness is wretched, therefore we hide them from others and wish to never show.

But scars have ways of becoming visible, setting their appearance at the pinnacle of who and what we are, so that all can see them. Then the bearer of the scar becomes the subject of our horrid conversations. Not sickened by the sight, instead they muster great delight in a person’s real scars.

Will we never travel far enough as we seek our withering goals, to see a person’s scars enough to love their aching souls? We all seek healing for our scars and we all have the ability to be healed. It is in healing others that we find healing for ourselves. So delve into helping others!

You don’t need miracles to give a healing touch; God gave us the power when we show our love."
