Yiset Naizir

The final Bet

By Yiset Naizir

I’ve made a choice,
painful yet true.
I set you free, I trust my fate,
though in my soul,
the fire burns through.

If this love is truly pure,
as you swear with no regret,
may God be judge and witness now,
and help me see the test.

I release you to the breeze,
my final move takes flight.
With open eyes, I watch you play,
observing through the night.

If you return, then you are mine,
if you drift... I’ll stand tall yet.
I do not fear the fall nor fate,
for those who play with wisdom set,
will only win the final bet.
