The family

They used to say they were a family,
They were never a family,
Just the spitting image of deprivation and insanity tied up in one neat frame,
That was their family picture.
If the word broken was a group of people it would be that 'family’.
No need for a dictionary, just a pair of eyes and a human heart
But of course no body had the time for a broken bunch of beggars
they were simply discarded along with the metal junk and the scrap versions of what could of been among the most thoughtful of creations ever to flourish.
never to receive even a gaze, or a beat of sympathy.
they’re isolated minds were seeds which would soon sprout into crazed weeds, overlapping their feeble roots in a failed attempt to dictate other plants, only to realise they lacked sense of direction, they only ever dictated themselves.
over time their raw hazel eyes hardened, passing every colour on the spectrum till they where black bullets, striking at the very least.
each inconspicuous member would weave their own web of lies, only to realise they had created new masks, appearing to themselves to be the twisted description of how how they perceived each other.
never-less to the sane around them, the masks where transparent, as hollow as their lies of which they had spun so delicately using the finest of silk to create.
not to mask their identities, to mask their minds, their gravel like eyes had been drugged to see only the distorted beauty their corrupted brains desired, their tongues would plunge into the filthiest of blood, to be aroused by the sweet sensation it had brought their taste buds.
Surely these masks they had created were inspired by the true fresh roots of evil, hence the pious say to lie is to sin, but what would that mean? Would it be fair for us to say this family was evil. As if we were saying these masks had defined them, their lies had defined them. evil had defined them. When did mankind ever come to the decision that evil had defined a man, instead of corrupt him. Did the evil that existed in this world, and persists in our lands ever sink into our body’s and claim authority over what we had no fair reason to give up? Evil did not define this family. Evil does not define mankind, what defined this family was the existence of evil along with what they perceived it to be.
their web of lies did not define them, their web was a cancer that was created by satanic spiders of which had carried evil in their cells.
there masks were never truly crafted by there hands, the design was crafted by satan. They were not evil, never evil. Hypnotised by evil.
after the whole process they never realised that they could destroy the masks that corrupted them. Once they did everybody who ever said they couldn’t would fade away.
Every being that would attempt to define them would freeze, never to be unfrozen.
Soon maybe, one day, the human nature in their minds would soon wake up and claim authority over what had been taken, their eyes would shoot open and they would realise, this evil didn’t define them, nor did their minds. Nothing except for their heart. And the other sane beings, the healthy humans would never become relevant, nobody or anything could define what was in their hearts, they would be free from the terror they were once tied with, the evil in the world never meant Anything, and it never will, because it never truly laid deep inside.
one day when the mask will break,
when they will become a family.
