This poem is about a man Contemplating suicide and Jesus describes a few things to him.

Before Your heart was broken
You were born with love,
Before you learned to Hate
You always seemed to be lookin up
Before they let you down
Your trust belonged to everyone
Before your life was ended
By the Words of someones tongue
Before you think its over
Consider who is at stake,
Before you think your final thought
Before your heart truly breaks...
You always thought it was easy
Before They took you away,
And now your in a predicament
This isn’t your decision to make...
Before you fought the battles
The battles that would never end,
Before you ever gave up
You stood tall over and over again,
Before you thought you lost
Your courage made your life,
Your mind was tough as steal
Before You stood for what was right...
Before you used to be a man
You stood for everyone else,
Before you used to give it up
You gave money to who needs help
Before You believed in God
Until you felt the flames of Hell
Before you Loved the world
They tempted you with Satan Himself
Before you used to be someone
Without all of your pain,
Before you met mr alcohol
That promised to take it away,
Before You never did that stuff
and Now theres a price to pay,
Before you used to go to Church
And now you hardly Pray...
Before You stood for me
and Now im standing for you,
Before You end your life
Just listen to this truth,
Before it takes you over
Read all of your notes,
Before you actually do it
Know Your familys who love you the most...
Before I saw you like this
You bet I know I tried,
Before I Thought you listened
But Im not gonna let you die
Before You do something wrong
Let me sit here by your side
Before You say I have no friends
Let me tell you that you are mine....
Before you gave up on me
You would hardly say the truth,
Before you turned your back on me
Knowing that I would never move
Before You even thought about this
I was sittin in your room,
Before You said nobody cared
All I Could say was “I love You”....
Now...
Before You think its the only way
You make it harder on everyone else,
Before I died for you
My Commandments Havent been upheld
You are my son please stop....
Before You sat here and cried,
I know you may not see me
But trust me Im by your side...
Before You felt the pain
But today I bless you with life,
Before you thought about hatred
Your Love’s about to be revived
Before you thought you had no hope
Oh how you struggled to survive
Before you thought you walked a road alone
When I’ve been here the whole time....
Before You never had a sense
of my Kingdom Up in the sky,
Before You thought I abandoned you
I Loved you with all my life’
Before You were so certain
I can say Your not dying tonight’...
Before you said you had no purpose
I’ll prove it to you in time...
