"Poetry, Love, and Perseverance"

I shiver like a wet dog
Thrown Into icy rain,
I waited more than a lifetime
...but the reaper never came.

It’s as if life has a circle
Yet my line Is too straight,
I walk the highest tight rope
But pray for it to break.

I Sing the sad song
Many sad souls sang,
Sustain the broken memory
Tell secrets my heart contains.

Propose preposterous ideas
Get slandered by many names,
You have the will to speak free
Yet your words are latched to chains.

Your Repetitive audacity
Brings me to my knees,
The darkness swallows arrogance
Ignorance is still at plead

 My gracious and bodacious
Poetry is out of line,
My words will stain the page
until the very end of time.

Break open a human heart
Tell me What lies inside,
Your wrong, If you say the anatomy
A blunt image of who died.

You don’t see the purpose
The words and tattoos on his skin
The words Of the wise
Are yet still ignored again.

My mind is a playground
A graveyard for the Abused,
The ones who been outcasted
Are also welcomed here too

I wanta hold a hand
So cold and bare as mine,
I want her hand to hold tight
Yet understand who I am inside.

I’ve reached out to many
Yet lost their hands on the way
Will you get lost in the graveyard?
....Or will you stay and play?

To many I’m a pessimist
To most misunderstood,
All I’ve wanted is to be loved
But yet thats so over looked.

It’s not a bad thing at all
I want a relationship to go far...
But maybe who knows?....
maybe I’m the one lurking in the graveyard?

 talents and embarrassment
Bullied, and harassed,
Its time to finish this poem
This sentence will be my last

My heart maybe out of light
Had barbed-wire rapped around,
They all maybe picket sign you
But you will take them down.

Your pain has gone far enough
It’s time to let it all propel,
Poetry is within no limits
You make the barriers for yourself.
