We live in a world
That depressing as crap,
We try to make new friends
But get stabbed in the back
O and the popular crew
Has to have everything exact,
A plan to take you down
Nike socks and obey hats...
Popular or not
You gotta understand,
That lunchtime is a death zone
U failed class again...?
Get yelled at alot
Embarrassed to raise a hand
You don’t want to even speak
But get asked to present, yo...
He looks at his paper
Takes in a gulp’,
He Looks back up
Then forgot what he wrote’
He feels that tension
like walking on a rope
Lava beneath the feet
With nowhere to even go...
He hears some laughter
Up In the back row
He stands so still
It seemed Life had been revoked
They know where his buttons r
And Yet they still poke,
he tried to get it out
But then he just chokes
Time slows down
As The class watches,
He trembled about thoughts
They put him down and mock him
He runs out the room
Just imagining the obvious’
In his own world
Yet They don’t know what his problem is....(x2)
Hes in the bathroom
Crying his eyes out,
He worked all night
No one cares when hes around
He looked in the mirror
On how he’s changed now
Cuz All he ever wanted
Was to make his parents proud
He peers in the mirror
A lack, a disability,
Suicidal thoughts
Run through like a little leauge
No touchdown
Yeah Just a simple simile
Growin ups hard
But living is too hard to beat
Goes to home room
In a crowded hallway,
Pushed on the floor
Rejected like a prom date
Made to be stupid
Yet the smartest in his grade
he attempts to love
But then love evacuates
A reclusive mind set
Do to how they erased
The little short gentleman
The way he was raised
The lights flicker on and off
But no ones Even home,
he’s still in his fortress
Made from sticks and stones
Time slows down
As The class watches,
He trembled about thoughts
They put him down and mock him
He runs out the room
Just imagining the obvious’
In his own world
Yet They don’t know what his problem is....(x2)
Self esteems low
problems increase,
He’s hasn’t seen his dad
Since 2003
He used to have faith
Yeah, Born a visionary
Without his Beatin heart
He’s A natural born enemy’
Yo, popularity...
It seems to be obscene,
The dream to fit in
By any and all means
All these hypocrites
Lie about being a team
When you look for a partner
You get stuck in between
As he goes to take a breath
He remembers it,
he chooses to mumble
Never was his parents favorite
Never was good at school
Washin Dishes, aprons
To afford food and clothes
Cuz his parents couldn’t raise him
gettin beat up here
And Beaten up over there,
he chooses anger over fear
And conquers his peers
O he stands up straight
Won’t back down from the plate
He said A home runs coming bitch
You better make way
Time slows down
As The class watches,
He speaks about thoughts
Music is his prophet
He lights up the room
Just imaginin the obvious’
In his own world
parents flooded him with compliments
...Reunited with himself
He’s finally proud’,
He dreamt of acceptance
Since he was a child
With a little work and effort
He made it worth wild
He invited dedication
Then fear moved out’..
His anger enraged storms
But all peaceful now
Hes in the 10th grade
With more friends around
The class doesn’t wonder...
They just stand up and shout
The light was on him
...No one ever sat down..
