I don’t want to come out and say this because I could be wrong
But you’ll be fine and happy for months and months
And then you’ll get depressed
You’re sad for things that never happened
And you’ve got that crazy look in your eyes
You scream at me for no good reason
And I’m expected to say goodbye
I’ll leave till you calm down then I get back and you forgot we ever fought at all
But I never forget
Because your words are acid and they’re burning through my skin
I understand that you can’t help but to be this way
But you must know that I can’t go on this way
I’m not quite sure what to tell you, because after all you are my mother
But you don’t act like I’m your daughter
You treat me like I’m nothing
