Watching the clouds as they float on that endless space of blue
Hearing the bees buzz into that classic, shoe kicking tune
Feeling the warmth cling to the contours of my rich, dark tinted face
Smiling as the birds swoop by in a pattern composed of nothing less than grace
Not bothered by the car that whoops a distant, high pitched alarm
Breathing in the crisp summer air that is absent from globally produced harms
Skipping the tracks of the hopscotch squares that should have long been erased
Knowing that I am finally able to embrace my mentally happy place
