i’ve got, “i miss you” carved over and over again on my sternum. skin raised and red, but it’ll dull down to a scar. just like the ones on your forearms that i saw when it was just you and me.
i’ve got, ”i miss you” written on my face in permanent ink. i’m thinking of the play we went to. i sat through it all, legs crossed and covered in highlighter doodles. those washed away quickly. you won’t.
