Christ Birth
Wake up you God fearing people
and hear wonderful things,
about Lord Jesus Christ
The King of all Kings.
God’s only Son
was born on this day,
in the little town of Bethlehem
in a barn on the hay.
On a cold winter night
beneath a shiny star,
surrounded by His folks
and three kings from a far.
And the angel Gabriel was there
with his watchful eye,
the Lord’s holy bodyguard
sent to protect the little guy.
God gave the world Jesus
to change our sinful ways,
and to help us negotiate
life’s mean and wicked maze.
And for over two thousand years
His name has reigned supreme,
as he taught us how to love
and how to live the dream.
Thank you God for sending Christ
with all His sacred might,
to guide us home to heaven
with His holy rays of light.
And happy birthday Jesus
may your healing power never end,
one can search for ever
and not find a better friend.
It’s because of you Lord
we’ve discovered peace and love,
which only the likes there be
comes from heaven above.
And even the none believers
take pleasure in His birth,
they sense His loving spirit
and realize His mighty worth.
It’s the birth of Jesus that makes this
the most wonderful time of the year,
so Merry Christmas everybody
and let’s give Christ a righteous cheer.:)
