Happy Valentine's Day
Happy valentine’s day
to all us lovers,
either on top
or under the covers.
From the equator
to both the poles,
may love saturate
our hungry souls.
May the aroma of love
drift up our noses,
like the fragrance
from a dozen roses.
May compassion invade
our sensuous brains,
and tenderness flow
through our esthetic veins.
May hate be
a forever forgotten thing,
and may our envious affection
flow like a spring.
May hugs and squeezes
be in store for us,
and may we go
all day without a fuss.
May we make love
in all four gears,
and may we soak up love
until it comes out our ears.
May we snuggle on the couch
and do some serious spooning,
but keep a blanket handy
so there’ll be no mooning.
Yes, the day is here
that we dedicate to love,
it’s the only day of the year
that I never tire of.:)
