physically.
There’s so much to see
abundance of activities
experiences
people
conversations
touches
kisses.
To dressing up before a party
To waiting for the ball to drop
To eye-contact pre-kiss
To coming home from a shopping trip and
putting all your bags full of clothing and
kitchen-wares, knick-knacks, and
a gift for your loved one on the bed.
To birds chittering before you wake
To waiting at the diner for a steak
To leaning back
satisfied at the empty plate.
To lifeworld,
all there is
and all there ever will be.
To me
the young one full of potential
floating upwards full of dreams;
my cold corpse in the street.
