Don’t try to help me
You can’t do anything
The world around me
Has been moving to the beat of things.
I’m just here,
Like a twig,
Skin and bones couldn’t
Lift a brick.
I’m always in my mind
Things run through constantly
“Don’t touch that food.”
“You don’t deserve to eat.”
My bones are breaking
No nutrients to stand on my feet
Trying to hold consciousness
Under my skin there’s no meat
Don’t try to help me
No matter what you do
In the mirror,
What I see,
Is in my head,
True.
