Timeline Alterations

While planning my journey back to my destination of birth, my vision of my ex’s Grandfather clock made me think about timelines. Mine was so straight, but after quitting my job and the first day of separation, It’s still like I’m stuck in a box.
The Timeline going forward was a symbol of everyday life. The basics included working my way up at my job and life with my former significant other. The Box represents the day the separation was asked, as well as the 3 week period of being unemployed. The right side of the box represents the day before the start of this life changing journey.
A Curve near the right side represents a different path off the main timeline. It starts another timeline below, while the original path (If everything never happened) has disintegrated. It’s like going on a Highway, but running into a sign that says, “Road Closed Indefinitely, USE DETOUR.”
Now, I have to figure out how to get myself back on track. I can’t take the original highway timeline, so the altered rout is more of a blank road. Not even a GPS could track my location. Uncharted timelines don’t present a vision for the viewer, but a subconscious Idea of what is desired for the driver. Mine was working for my dream job and starting a family life. Now, I can’t see anything because the fog has rolled in, obstructing my conscious and forethoughts.
Every path I had chosen consciously or was forced to take, has only led me back onto this unknown road. When will I find the right path? Probably after the party of time itself is over.
