Cascading thoughts drifting into knots
Of disbelief given the circumstances
Around which I dance and give to you before me
Trying extemporaneously to divulge
That which cannot be taken
It must be given and extruded
Through all that desire to exist within me

I’d like to think that serendipity flows through
These veins
These heightened pains of my memories

Looking forward
Seeing structure
Asking why you take my rhymes
And dissect the times they take to express
Become self-evident
And flock wayward to the skies in your eyes

Daydreaming in a circle
As I fantasize without pause
But pausing instead to circumvent the logic
The dried and hollowed place
Flowing through the branches of a trees
Bark rough and tearing at my skin
Millions of my cellular friends shed to protect
A truth that I desperately seek to find

Asking how the path is supposed to unfold
To devolve or evolve or go left or right

Chaotic madness, chaotic structure
Containing the balance between finding a truth
And living in the silence of oblivion
