Hayes Days

Her skin was soft like melted chocolate and her face attracted stares.
Her body was small but curvy.
Small hips. Big derrière.

To me she looked like poison,
Like a girl I shouldn’t trust.
But we see each other often so a
Move I have to bust.

She was the opposite of what I thought she was.
She made me feel desired.
Her kisses and affection was what I lusted for whenever I felt tired.

Her ex is back.
So we fall off.
Not much to say about that.
It ain’t feel good but I’m too prideful
To let her know I care like that

But This became a reoccurring theme.
Although she didn’t treat me right,
Her voice was therapeutic to me
She called me every night.

She wants to get serious with me!

I want her to be my girlfriend,
I want to hold her hands.
I even took her to church like
“Lord Thankyou for her man”

I’m hesitant at first because of her past inconsistency.
“but Ima cuff shorty if she just stay consistent b”

“I don’t think your as serious as me”
Is what she told me.
That was her reason for letting us go.
If you ever gets a chance to read this poem.
I hope you know

“I loved you”
But do whatever you want man.
Bye
