A Sudden Sorrow
As I sit alone tonight,
I begin to ponder....even wonder
What is the feeling that has overcome me?
There’s no end to it in sight
All encompassing as a late night thunder
So unsuspecting......a pain I simply cannot see
Without an explanation
Without even a slight hint at all
Creeping like a shadow consuming all inside
Suffer slow degradation
Hearts aren’t the only thing that will fall
So many years....so many unexplained tears cried
