Transition

A little poem about the journey over the last year for me.

One whole year it’s been
Still not feeling a thing
Sparks don’t fly
I kinda why
But yet I’m here
Trying to write something

Still gasping for air
What a year, what a year
Blessing and calamity
Guess it changed me

What I’m truly saying
I came back, to write a line
To say I’m back still feeling fine
Inspiration still by my side
Look in, look deep
Deep deep inside

Still I never left the poem
Can’t leave without saying
Saying what needs saying
My heart don’t lie

I lost a friend
But not the memory
Truly my heart hurts me
But that’s another line
For another poem
