Pain
I feel the pain
Of the whole world.
The tears I cry
Are not just my own.
The scars I bare
Are made by all
Who dare to lay a razor there.
I feel my pain
And I feel theirs.
I hurt with them,
But today I feel
Like things maybe
Just slightly different.
No one is around
To share my pain.
The world has left,
I’m all alone.
Left to face this on my own.
The demon that walks
Like one of our own.
I’m forced to stand
And face my fears
All by myself,
Once again.
