For the One
Calm as the sea,
The eerie moment before
A storm lays waste
To the perfect calm.
Perfect imperfection.
A photogenic sunset,
No blemish on the horizon
To prevent such
Perfect imperfection.
Sweeter than honey,
Fresh honey, golden
And thick. Liquid
Sunshine, sweet as good
Dreams. Sweet.
Warm as the sun.
A worshipped star,
Piercing the icy veil
Of the heavens on a frosty
Morning.
Liquidy pools of heat
Fill every crack in a soul
With unsubtle warmth.
Stretching, creeping
Tendrils of love crawl,
Gliding per every dark
Crevice, hiding the dark,
Seeking out the
Liquid sunshine.
