Will you think of me
when you go to sleep?
Will you think of me
even when thoughts aren’t cheap?
When I say goodbye this time
will it stay that way?
These thoughts cross my mind everyday,
constant replay.
What is wrong?
Do you even care?
Is it the fear?
Are you just too scared?
Is your heart not in it?
Just let it out.
Stop giving me hope
when you’re filled with doubt.
Don’t give me that look.
Why in my eyes do you stare?
If when I’m not around,
it’s like I was never there...
Just one last question,
since you’ll be leaving,
is it sad that I hope
it’s of me you’ll be thinking?
