In the darkness
she lets out roars
as she succumbs
to her weakness
Her savage thoughts
have diminished
like watered-down
fire in the night.
She lays in shame—
Awakened by
ray piercing through—
Her head hangs low,
She roams alone
in wilderness
as she chooses.
Now with new stance,
head and chin high—
she catapults
the other way—
