Don't get angry in the wrong way.

Don’t get angry in the wrong way
You may regret it the next day
It’s OK to be angry about some things–
you are human.

Divorce hurts.
Sometimes it’s the path
you were meant to take.
God always has plans that
are for you to make.

Don’t burn the bridge
you need for your child
to grow.
You want the face of
your child to be aglow.

So don’t hurt your spouse with
words that  can hurt more than
you think.

It may be the last
link.

Everything is connected
like a chain.
You must try to be nice
although it may be in vain.

Actions speak louder
than words.
Are you taking
your own advice?

Are your actions
nice?
Or are they hurtful
and revengeful?

Are your actions helping
your child.
Or do you do awful
things and call it “mild”

Listen to that voice in your
head when it rains and
you know the actions you must take–
the higher road... even
If it’s feigned.

Anger is energy and can be transformed into another type of energy if you channel it to that end. Expressed in a healthy manner is a healthy choice for your spirit . Sometimes divorced couples can hurt their child by isolating the child from certain family and friends. Sometimes this is a real crime punishable by prison time or fines. Saying something bad or doing something dishonestly to punish the other especially if you use a court of law as your weapon dishonestly for example. This behavior can lead to perjury charges, prison time (even if you have a child to care for) and/or fines. It's an extremely serious legal matter. These custody issues are sad for me. I never imagined it could be like this. I always thought my soon to be ex would always grant me 50/50 custody and shared Holidays....like fair-minded partners. Her lawyer uses the child to negotiate. It is so mean-spirited. Of course they say it's for this reason and that reason. Lies. Perjury. Injustice produces anger so always fight for what is just.

Take the high road.
