Sometimes I feel conflicted
You and me– we’ve been ground
And sifted.
All through the night
And all through the day
We think of a lot
And have many things to say.
How much openness will you have?
Or will you close the wounds
With a dollop of sauce....
Or pray to
Your Lord.
And listen to what he has
To say.
