You’ve cried a million tears
Throughout the years
And feel broken inside
Sometimes you just want to run and hide
To a place where love and peace reign
You are fighting to be healed from all pain
Yet it seems hard for you to do
Darkness is all you see
You try your hardest to be free
And nothing changes
Your mind is like a book
Waiting to be open
You looked in the mirror at your reflection
Wishing you could see your perfection
But you still can’t find your self-worth
You are completely broken and alone
And don’t know how to make it on your own
You are hungry for success
And you’re willing to do your best
You refuse to settle for less
Because you want to reach to the top
And you promise yourself
You will climb until you get there nonstop.
