Naughty little bear cub

Down in the forest under a tree
Lives a naughty bear cub and his family
His Daddy, his Mummy, his sister too
Nobody knew they were there but there were some little clues.
Wind between the rushes, the rustling of the leaves, soft fluttering of the flowers and some scrambling in the bushes?
Naughty bear cub is pushing his sister
And holding her arm and trying to twist her
Daddy bear is mad and fixed him with a gaze.
Mummy said “don’t worry honey, I think it’s just a phase.”
When he’s in nursery he gets gold stickers for tidying up his mess.
But Daddy got madder when naughty bear cub drew on his sister’s favourite dress.
THAT’S IT shouted Daddy bear– just look what he’s done now
But I’ve made it better said naughty bear cub
To which his Daddy roared WELL HOW?
Mummy and Daddy talked that night when he was asleep
(Or so they thought)
Is he trying to be naughty or is he trying to get caught?
You need to be patient honey, he’s still only a cub
Please don’t roar or show him your paws
Just ruffle his hair and spoil him with love
Naughty bear cub was still awake so opened one eye
When he listened to his parents talk he tried not to cry
When I’m soft said Daddy bear
He just doesn’t listen, it’s like he doesn’t care
The other day he pushed his sister off the bed
And you should see the size of the lump that’s appeared on her head!
Now even Mummy agreed that naughty bear cub had to be told
But said I think he’s just a naughty normal four year old
Naughty bear cub wasn’t being naughty at all
He just wanted his sister to walk instead of crawl
I can’t help my big clumsy paws and I didn’t mean for her to fall
I drew on her dress so she could play with me
A super hero bear cub and his buddy
It’s a costume, you know like all super heroes wear
I really do love my sister and most definitely care
Deep down in forest under a tree
