The Shoah

The Shoah

The wind blew through the town today,
A slight breeze, nothing more.
No-one pulled their coats on
People still went outdoors.

The wind blew through the town again.
A little stronger this time.
Umbrella’s blowing inside out.
I wish I’d seen the sign.

The wind blew through the town today,
It really was quite a gust.
We wrapped up warm,
Shielding eyes from crystal dust.

The wind roared through the town.
Blowing very much.
It blew away the stars,
And the hats and other stuff.

The wind whirled through the town again.
Destroying things on its path.
It uprooted all the houses;
The vein of hope and dreams.

The wind blew through the town.
A slight breeze nothing more,
No-one pulled their coats on,
Because there was no-one to go outdoors.

This is a poem about symbolism and deeper meaning, I would love to see your interpretation of what it means.
