By J Ann Crowder

Remember when our love first started and we would hold hands, walking together and everything felt clear?

Together we made perfect sense

We walked the same stride and I wished our moments would never end

We have babies now, and they keep growing

I will love them no matter how old they are, and each moment they give me of their smiles

And nothing has changed with us, my love

Life is rough sometimes

But I still want our moments to freeze in time

I'm happy to say nothing has changed. I love my love more and more and my two babies he gave me. Forever grateful! Written April 25th 2016.

We endure because of these moments, happy moments we “freeze in time” and moments yet to surprise us that always put a smile on our face. This is why we love our love, the essence of our very being. Wrap your self in the love moment and you’ll find yourself smiling. And keep it and share it. Lovely poem of faithfulness. Love.

Like, Vic, I wasn't as lucky either. I'm so glad for you, though. It sounds like you have a wonderful life. Since then, my wife who divorced me, died of hepatitis. She was only 57 years old at the time. I've adjusted to being alone, and it would seem strange to be with someone again.. I've been alone for about 25 years, and it doesn't bother me

I wasn't as lucky; but then again most people aren't.

Nice poem nonetheless!

So sorry Vic! I never like hearing that. But, I believe we all get second chances. I hope you find yours if not already.
