She scribbled words

She scribbled words.

Not on paper, and not with pen, but she scribbled them.

Engraved into something man made.

Something that can not be replaced or remodeled.

But she didn’t care, so she scribbled words.

She scribbled words.

Not words of love, and not beautiful, but she scribbled them.

Painful memories of what she can’t erase, undo, take back,

or simply pretend never existed.

But it didn’t matter, so she scribbled words.

She scribbled words.

Not just once, and not just twice, but she scribbled them.

Written in blood, signed with a smile.

A smile that hid everything she would never say.

But she needed more, so she scribbled words.
