On Sundays she goes to church and prays with all others,
Who is she to think that she is different?
She sometimes find it difficult to decipher when the priests blabber in their sermons,
Or she dozes off, when they delve analytically on the stories of the old testament,
She tries to conform to accepted patterns of conduct,
She has tried to be a faithful daughter of the Christian church,
She recites our father which art in heaven,
Though not sure of its significance,
She does not know much of heaven or hell,
But in this world hatred and violence is rampant,
So there must be goodness and truth,
And that means God must be somewhere there.
