To Far

Lingering darkness spreads across the shore like an eclipse. I am left standing in complete darkness, the moon lit ground No longer lights the way to what I know as happiness. Confused I wander into despair reaching and hoping For something to cling hold of me and not let go, But the wind slips through my fingers like the tunes on a harmonica. I grasp and scrape at the salty air, feeling for something more Something that would grasp me back. I can feel The warmth at my fingertips reach, but it is still too far to grab
