Dust to dust
Everybody has a bag of dirt
that they must eat during their lifetime
Some folk keep it right to the end
where they end up choking on it
Some folk get it served to them at school
or somewhere in the pecking order
Some get it rammed down their throat
whichever way, everyone has to eat their
bag of dirt
Some folk help it down with alcohol
some with narcotic unconsciousness
Others grind it between their teeth
spitting grit over their family and friends
Whilst others disguise it by baking it
and adding sugar, tie ribbons and bows
all over, but it’s still a bag of dirt
Eat your dirt and dispose of the bag responsibly
