Invisible Strings
Woke-up to the strumming noise of the guitar strings,
Don’t know how my arms reached over,
And fingers caressed them when I’m still asleep!
Wonder what tunes I played before I fall asleep,
Only the silence in the air could reveal!
Still blinking my eyes to clear the world of dreams,
And to step into the world that is still unclear to see!
But my lazy mind refused to concede,
Still reaching its arms to frisk the rims,
Of those unclear shapes I saw clearly in my dreams!
My eyes still trying to peer through the details,
Of the world that exists only on my mind,
Which only my closed eyes can see…!!
