My Awkward Nakedness

The moment I stepped out of the colourless woumb,
And stepped into the world filled with colours,
I was whisked and wrapped immediately,
In the social fabric of different hues and colours!

Of the colours of culture, creed, tribe, religion,
Race, gender, and orientation,
And hues of the social fabric soon became my identification,
Without any question or confrontation!

You wear blue, that is you,
You wear red, you are in the heard,
You wear green, you are mine,
You wear yellow, you are my fellow,
And you wear black, I will have your back!

The moment I stripped myself bare and naked,
My nakedness soon turned into awkwardness,
And my conscience forever lost in the bewildered wilderness!
