The Crutches
When the footsteps suffered an unexpected sprain,
The road to destination was left crippled and restrained,
All that it needed was a pair of crutches to prop,
To ease the strain and appease the pain,
Till life gets back to its feet and run again!
To help the ailing life to mope around a little,
Borrowed a pair of crutches made of metal,
That already proved its mettle,
Someone used them enough, but not for too long,
And perhaps they may never need them again!
Hope I may not need them for too long,
Cos I may soon get back to my feet and run again,
I will pass them on, to those who may need,
With a hope that they may not have to use them for too long,
And wish that they may never need them again………..!
