ONE and only ONE

I opened my eyes and scanned my room,
I heard a voice asking me, “Where is the one?”
Pushed the blankets and I put my feet down on the floor,
I heard the floor asking me “where is the one?”

Laughed and shook my head,
Walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on,
I heard water asking me “where is the one?”
Chaotic was the scene,
When all the soap bubbles and water,
Dripping down my body asking me, “Where is the one?”

Dabbed my body and dropped the towel,
And I heard the towel asking me “where is the one?”
Looked at it and laughed and reached for the cologne,
Asked the cologne asked “why are you alone and where is the one?”

I brew some hot coffee and about to take as sip,
The aroma asked me “where is the one?”
Stepped out of my door and walking on my way to work,
I heard the shining sun, the fragrant flowers,
The balmy breeze and the busy bees, asking me “where is the one?”

The day has passed and I’m home,
I called it a night and slipped into the my bed,
I touched to turn off the light,
I heard the lamp asking me “where is the one?”
I looked out through the window,
I saw the shining moon, the twinkling stars, and the dangling vines,
I know they will ask the same “where is the one?”

Amusing it is and I don’t know what to say,
You are my everything and I’m not me but you,
You and I and I’m you,
We are not two but one,
Isn’t true that we are not two but we are one,
May be you know by now that you are the one,
The ONE and only ONE!!
