Where am I from you ask?
I am from corn fields and old barns
Skating rinks and fast cars
I am from the place where I know you and your cousins cousin
I am from the place where fresh bread is made from your grandmothers oven
A coffee shop on every corner
Multiple cemeteries, and one family coroner.
No where to go and nothing to see
Families holding on to values so tenaciously
Small schools with a class of 64
Where gentleman still exist, and hold open doors.
I am from Garfield, the cat and basketball hoops
Bob Ross paintings and one river that makes a horseshoe loop.
I am from a college town and David Letterman
Multiple churches to pray for our sins.
I am from all four seasons, festivals, and antiques.
These are all the things that make where I am from so unique.
