Dreamy Starts

Swirling sage spheres dissolve the black.
Perfect, air-filled pockets,
rolling, surging, bursting.
Tawny slinks play;
tumbling over,
and over.
Noses nudging,
nimbly nipping;
nodding heads,
side-to-side,
enticing me to be absorbed.
Mitten paws padding,
webbed feet wafting,
throwing me in blasting bubbles.
Streaming swells,
dictate my moves.
Floating,
carried on a swooping current,
hazy water,
hides distant furry faces,
til fleeting, they flash by!
Gently jostling,
into a portal.
Static snow-screen surrounds.
Dazzlingly dwindling,
into dreams.

(2012)

This is how all of my dreams usually start. As if the otters are playing and guiding me towards a room full of static - which then, fades into a dream.
