I wish to be beside you when I grow old.
I wish to be next to you truth be told.
I want my kids to have your blonde hair.
And blue eyes that can be too much to bare.
I can’t ever seeing myself hurting you.
Making you cry is the last thing I wish to do.
I want to see you full of joy and relaxation.
It would bring me such such satisfaction.
I found love in the mountains and in your heart.
That kiss I get before a good bye so sweet and tart.
I know I will always be there for you through thick and thin.
You have taken my heart places I’ve never been.
You have a stubbornness I attempt to tame.
But my love for you will always be “ ever the same”.
