Puppy Love

To whom it may concern

I sat quietly to watch the clouds cry, flooding the streets with their marble sounding tears.
I couldn’t help but think about your smile, how it shines like the sun, the way butterflies turn my stomach into a playground; your hands are a like a bear claw, soft and big.
Your lips are as soft as butter yet as sweet as sugar. Your laugh gently rumbles against my ear as i rest my weary, love-filled head on your chest.
I wonder... does love always feel this good? Makes you feel as though 1000 helium occupied balloons are attached to your arms, carrying you away? Makes you feel as light as a feather. That’s how i feel around you, My heart is like glass, very fragile and easy to break.
I zone back in on the rain, and realize I’ve been smiling with a few lonesome tears coming down my face, thoughts of you are bitter-sweet, kind of like grapefruit fresh off the tree.
