Guide Me
Guide my mind and instill within my heart,
Educate and hold me, everyday in Your mind until I depart.
All that I love is only You and the world I will forsake,
Your foresight and knowledge for which I want to partake.
Vastness of all that is in this life an interlude,
For each day within my grasp, show such gratitude.
All the wisdom that You have is finer than all its treasures,
For what this world has in its own pleasures.
Have walked away through such discouragements,
With every obstacle this world implements.
Give me a path and watch my journey,
Be my beacon of light, allow me to return to Thee.
Your guidance is what emboldens my mindfulness,
To have the strength, in continuing to seek with much humbleness.
Grant me Your graciousness and love,
To be faithful and guided in flight like a dove.
