Webweaver

Oh, what delight to see such a grand web,
The lights of the building allowed me to detect your bed.
A place that in the night was weaved,
Unnoticed in darkness, your loot is ready to be grieved.

Your construction flows with the breeze,
Unsteady, yet resolute with such ease.
Bonded like damascus steel,
Workmanship dealt with such zeal.

Time has allowed you to win over so much spoil,
All of it clandestine to be caught without toil.
Your web is brightened during the day,
Still it is a deceiver to those at night, your prey.

Have instilled in me the thought of wonder,
For moments, consider your design of weaving and ponder.
Love the language you have created with such insight,
Walking away and realizing that the day will come with your blight.
