Encouragement
Listen to Your Word and I am encouraged,
All my days will I seek You,
Fasting and supplications, wills me,
To be the person that I have longed to be.
Erase my past and all my worries,
Test my heart, mind, and soul,
For this I will be overjoyed.
Seek Your goodness and the treasure of power,
Your wisdom and knowledge be granted every moment and hour,
Deliver me from my own needs and selfishness,
Devour my ways in my thoughts,
To be able to behold the coming of days.
Release me from the bondage that is upon me,
Keep me from my past, live for the present, and prepare for the future.
The future will be You and being with you for Eternity.
Help me with words of encouragement,
Guide me on the path and be my light and power.
Help from every obstacle that I create,
And those who wish me to never win the race.
If the day is coming let it be fast,
Though until then I shall wait.
Let any event that comes upon my path,
Never lead me astray,
If you have any blessing or gifts for my heart,
Provide them and I will be forever Yours.
The encouragement I have gained, may it follow me
All of my days.
Discourage those who wish to trespass Your ways,
Let them be dealt with, if they do harm to others,
Removing their embrace for You,
Let Your love abound towards them
Keep them from foolishly removing those
Who wants to follow and long for believing in You as well.
Grant them the strength from day to day tasks,
Keep them and be with them as You have been with me.
No longer shall our foolish ways be in our way.
Deliver us all and encourage us from our weaknesses,
Keep us strong and learn from our mistakes.
Encouragement, be upon us all.
