Heart Of The Forest

In the heart of the forest where the wildflowers bloom,
Underneath the silver glow of the quiet moon,
A tale of old, in whispers, the wind would croon,
Of love and loss, of joy and gloom.

A river that dances with the Sun’s bright ray,
Through the valleys and mountains, it winds its way,
Mirroring the sky, in its depths, the stars lay,
A silent witness to the passing day.

The trees stand tall, their leaves a vibrant green,
In their shade, a world unseen,
Creatures of the wild, their eyes keen,
In this grand theater, they are the scene.

The song of the birds, so clear and loud,
Echoes in the silence, a melody proud,
A symphony of life, under the cloud,
In nature’s orchestra, the music is endowed.

The fox in the thicket, quiet and sly,
Under the watchful gaze of the owl’s eye,
In the dance of the wild, under the sky,
Each creature plays a part, as the day goes by.

The rustle of leaves, the crackle of twigs,
The world awakens, a new day begins,
The Sun rises, a warm light it brings,
A golden hue to the world, it sings.

The beauty of the wild, pure and free,
A world untouched, as it’s meant to be,
In every rock, in every tree,
A story told, a memory.

As the Sun sets, the stars awake,
In the stillness of the night, a breath they take,
In the heart of the forest, by the quiet lake,
A reflection of the sky, on its surface, they make.

In the heart of the forest, under the moon’s soft light,
The world sleeps, wrapped in the blanket of night,
Dreams of the wild, taking flight,
Until the dawn breaks, bringing a new sight.
