Alone in a life
on a vast prairie home
under the torch
of a full moons
curtain of light
lives the beauty
of one soul raised
by the glowing rays of the sun
with the fiery spirit of a wild
and unbridled bareback rider.
Within the endless spirits of time
lay the thoughts so surreal
of strengths felt
through clinching thighs and knees
of fists full of long and flowing hair
and wind in thundering hooves speed
blowing past a hearing ear.
Searching the horizon
within dreams of the one
for which a life can be fully
and compassionately shared
parting the senses of all
on a journey far from strife
and longing for the one soul
willing to carry her there.
Wanting to be tamed
and safe in the soul
of a chosen one
viewing all
in the heavens
clear night skies far above
for the signs
of each single
glistening star aligned
in the path
to the feel
of two single souls
