The Battle That Never Ends

The Battle That Never Ends

Two different houses, two different stories, the battle has begun. The battle is cruel and heartless, anything but fun.

Arguing, shouting, and all the lies, being told two different stories, and having to pick sides.

No. This is wrong. This isn’t how everything’s suppose to be. This is all wrong, can’t you see?

You may call this a family. She’d say this is more like world war 111.

So she just stayed in her room all the time. Away from everyone. But she soon realized, being all alone, isn’t much fun.

She sacrificed her happiness for the happiness of others. She sacrificed her happiness for the happiness of her sister and her mother.

Her mother wants it desperately. Her sister just wants stuff that’s new. But what about what she wants? Aren’t her feelings important too?

And as always, she’s super, super, sick. Of always getting the short end, of the stick.

Parent against parent, Sister against sister, this “family” is falling apart. You never know which informations true, it’s like blindly throwing darts.

Telling her she had two homes was the worst mistake they could have ever made. By telling her she had two homes rather than one, they only made her feel like she had no home at all, none.

Things would be totally different she wished. It was like she was homesick for a place that didn’t exist.

But you have to have an opinion, and pick what you believe. During this time, true peace and happiness is hard to achieve.

Two hurt people you love, two people who desperately want you. Your feelings continue to twist, and turn and bend. And the worst part is, the battle never ends.
