To Kill A Butterfly

To Kill A Butterfly

Such a great idea. A beautiful thing on her arm. Something that will remind her, not to self-harm

She feels bad for wanting to do it, because of the people who actually care. But all the pain is just too much to bare.

She was sick of faking happiness. She was sick of trying. She had a smile on her face, but inside she felt like dying.

Her friends wanted to help. Even though very few of them actually care. But the ones who did, drew a butterfly on her wrist for her to wear.

But the creature didn’t help, although it was adorable. It just made her feel guilty and horrible.

Now she wearing this fake smile, that She doesn’t  believe in, while inside She feels like screaming.

But she knows if she cuts, it will certainly die. Too many people know what it means to kill a butterfly.
